This event has passed.

Common Roots Urban Farm, at Bell and Robie, is getting ready to open for it's 7th growing season on May 1 and change is in the air.

Our farm has grown up on interim land that was allocated by the NSHA back in 2012. While we love where we are, we always knew that the site was destined to become our city’s new hospital. With the QEII’s Redevelopment Project slated to being in 2019, the farm has one more growing season, and then it will need to find a new home.

The farm and Partners for Care, the farms operator, are inviting the gardeners, the politicians, the corporate sector, and the public, to help envision the farm’s future at a public engagement session on April 11 called, “Where will our Garden Grow?"

What: Common Roots Urban Farm has to move in the fall of this year. Help Envision "Where Will Our Garden Grow?" at a public engagement session
When: Wednesday, April 11, 7-9 pm
Where: Citadel High’s Atrium.
