Halifax 48 Hour Film Project produces and promotes films, talents and our beautiful city, province and country to an international audience! More than 130 cities world wide participate each year. Teams from all over Halifax and Nova Scotia compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. Competition dates Sept. 22- 24, 2017. Can you make a film in 48 hours? Register here . Each team has to include 3 elements announced at start of competition and draw a genre from a hat! A wild and sleepless weekend full of adrenaline! Premiere Screening & Awards of Halifax 48 Hour Film Project at the awesome SPATZ Theatre. The audience votes for favorite films! Best of Halifax will represent the city  Filmapalooza 2018, PARIS with a chance to screen at Cannes, France! Prizes and Awards will be announced!
